ISSA (issa.com) has awarded Building Maintenance Service (BMS) with the distinguished designation of CIMS-GB with Honors. The Cleaning Industry Management Standard, Green Building certification is awarded after an extensive third party audit of all Management and Operational systems. This designation combined with our Green Seal certification places BMS at the absolute cutting edge of sustainable, responsible cleaning practices.

BMS is proud to announce a new service partnership with Guardian Realty to provide janitorial services in three properties located in Norfolk, VA and one property located in Virginia Beach, VA. A 3 year contract has been awarded to our team.

BMS of Chicago is honored to be an integral part of the service team at The Museum of Contemporary Art, one of the world's largest contemporary art venues, established in 1967.

The BMS service model and proven track record have allowed us to grow our partnership with Brandywine Realty Trust. Building Maintenance Services (BMS) has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide sustainable cleaning services to 7 commercial office properties located within the Arboretum Office Park in Richomnd, VA.

Continuing our support for the communities we live and perform work in, BMS proudly provided full breakfast and lunch for all campers during the Albemarle Police Department's Virginia Rules(virginiarules.com) Summer Camp of 2015. Virginia Rules is an educational program especially designed to help parents and students understand the law as it applies to teens in their everyday lives.

In celebration of Thanksgiving employees of BMS receive a grocery gift card; this year to magnify our impact, BMS has utilized the Shop with Scrip(shopwithscrip.com) program. Each year we will select a school attended by children of our staff members. We have selected St. Andrew's Day School(standrewsum.org) located in Edgewater, MD to benefit from this years effort; 4% of our Thanksgiving grocery gift card purchases will be directed to the school to assist them with technology initatives and fundraising goals.

We proudly provide professional cleaning services to the Harbor Group's 265,000 sft building located in Secaucus, NJ anchored by the NBAs Broadcast Center.

BMS is proud to announce a new service partnership with Westdale Real Estate Investment & Management located in Glen Allen, VA. The Grove Park, East and West Shore buildings totaling 385,000 square feet and home to anchor tenant Capital One were awarded to our team and service begins on October 1, 2014.

BMS has proudly provided janitorial services to the 4 million square foot Chicago Merchandise Mart since September of 2013.

BMS is proud to announce a new service partnership with the University of Virginia Foundation managed by Jones Lang LaSalle in Charlottesville, VA. Eleven buildings totaling 700,000 square feet were awarded to our team and service began on May 1, 2012.

GMSC has assumed all security guard services for the Rego Park Shopping Center located in New York, NY. This acquisition secures GMSC as one of the most trusted security services in the region.

608 Fifth Avenue, a 125,000 square foot building located in the heart of the NYC’s diamond district has awarded the security, cleaning and metal/marble maintenance to GMSC, BMS and Metal-Brite respectively.

On April 1, 2011 BMS/GMSC was awarded the janitorial and security contracts for 1 Park Avenue, a 900,000 square foot office tower in Midtown Manhattan.

BMS/MBSC was awarded the janitorial, metal and marble maintenance contracts on July 1, 2011 for 280 Park Avenue. The 1.2 million square foot office tower is a Vornado/SL Green joint venture managed by CBRE.

BMS/MBSC is honored to be an integral part of the service team at The NYC Intercontinental Hotel. We provide daily housekeeping services, window cleaning and maintain the metal and marble finishes.

Building Maintenance Service (BMS) provides the sustainable cleaning services for the US Green Building Council’s (2101lstreet.com) world headquarters in Washington, DC. BMS also provides services to the rest of the 2101 L Street building which is registered LEED EB Silver—a 350,000 Sft Class A building in the city's West End.

Building Maintenance Service (BMS) was recently awarded the sustainable cleaning services for the American Pharmacists Association’s (homeofpharmacy.org) new world headquarters in Washington, DC. BMS also provides services to the rest of the 2215 Constitution Ave building which is registered LEED NC Gold. Donohue Real Estate and Complete Building Services provide the integrated management services for the building.

Guard Management Service Corp (GMSC) was recently awarded a $4Million, multi year security contract at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in New York City - a 1.3M Sft tower owned by Beacon Capital Partners (www.1211.com). The selected businesses at this address include: Fox News, Fox Broadcasting‎, Abbott Capital Management‎, Morgan Stanley & Co., to name a few.

Building Maintenance Service (BMS) was recently awarded maintenance services for the new AOL headquarters at 770 Broadway. AOL’s new space was designed by Mancini Duffy, and is currently seeking LEED certification, under the Commercial Interiors system. AOL’s lease is for 225,000 square feet over three floors at the 15-story tower until 2022. AOL’s commitments to sustainability lead them to choose the BMS/Green Clean program to service their new space.

The Ethical Cultural Society and the Fieldston School, a client of BMS’s in Riversdale and Manhattan was recently given a donation of $20,000 to the facilities financial aid department. Mark Stanek welcomed the contribution. Michael Doherty, BMS President said “We are committed to the health and future of Ethical Cultural Fieldston, and we understand there’s greater need this year.”

Building Maintenance Service (BMS) services over 20M Sft in Manhattan and 11-buildings that they provide services recently received Energy Star status from the US Department of Energy.

Building Maintenance Services (BMS) was recently awarded a multi year contract to provide sustainable cleaning services to the newly named Transamerica Tower in Baltimore, MD. This 450,000 sq ft tower is owned by Lexington Realty Trust and managed by Lexington MKP Management.

Building Maintenance Service (BMS) is pleased to announce our partnership with the Building Wellness Institute (www.buildingwellness
) a leading sustainability organization. Through the BWI’s training certification, the entire BMS management team has been trained to the GS-42 (Green Seal) standards. BMS has worked extensively with Green Seal on their standards development committee and has been recognized for our BMS/Green Clean programs.
